Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the community to review the design options for the T.T. Minor Play Area Renovation as part of our efforts to build vibrant community. Please join us Wednesday, October 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Seattle World School, 1700 E Union St. This will be an opportunity for the community to provide feedback on the three play area design options. We will provide a light meal and refreshments to enjoy.
The project will provide new play equipment for both younger and older children. We will also include selectively replaced pathway paving to ensure an accessible route to and throughout the play area. The renovation is coordinating this project with the Greater & Greener Conference, taking place in Seattle in June 2024. Greater & Greener is the premier event for innovators and decision-makers from across the global urban parks community.
Additionally, we invite the community to join us at a second meeting on Saturday, November 11 from 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. to provide additional input and to review the preferred play area design.
