Through water testing, King County Public Health has informed Seattle Parks and Recreation that there is toxic algae present in Green Lake. Currently we are asking people and pets to say out of the lake.
Until further notice:
- Do not swim or water ski
- Do not drink lake water
- Keep pets away
- Clean fish well and discard guts
- Avoid areas of scum when boating
