Seattle Children’s PlayGarden is a safe, supportive, accessible and innovative place for children of all abilities to play. The PlayGarden offers open play, summer camps, and preschool. Each year, through a partnership agreement with Seattle Parks and Recreation, the PlayGarden provides scholarships to summer and preschool programs, improvements to the park space, and public access to the PlayGarden.
Program Scholarships: Seattle PlayGarden offers half day preschool to children ages 3-5. Financial aid is available. The PlayGarden also offers summer programs for kids, teens, and young adults (up to age 21), and junior counselors. Financial aid is available.
Park Improvements: In 2018 the PlayGarden installed new accessible surfacing and new play equipment.
Open Play: Seattle PlayGarden offers Open Play events where the park is open to all ages and abilities with staff on site to support. Activities in the past have included soccer clinics, events with Kids Carpentry, and others. For upcoming events check here.
