Your Guide to Reserving South Park Playfield
We want to make booking the field as simple as possible. The process ensures that the field is used by and for the South Park community. Follow these three steps to get your permit.
Step 1: Submit Your Application
The first step is to submit an application online. You can request field time for a one-time event or for regular practices throughout a season.
When planning your request, keep the general availability in mind. The field is typically open for reservations after 5:30 PM on weekdays (Monday-Friday) and from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM on weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
Step 2: Confirm Your Eligibility
After you submit your application, our Athletic Scheduling Office will review it. They will contact you with a few questions to confirm your group’s eligibility. The pilot program prioritizes groups with strong ties to the South Park area. Be prepared to share:
- Your connection to South Park: How are you or your group involved in the community?
- Your community history: What is your background in coaching or community involvement in South Park?
- Your activity: Are you bringing a new or emerging sport to the neighborhood?
- Your roster: Can you show that at least 65% of your participants are from South Park (ZIP codes 98108 & 98106) and the surrounding communities?
This step ensures the field primarily benefits local residents and those offering free programs to the South Park community.
Step 3: Get Your Permit
Once your application is approved, you will receive a permit. This document will confirm your scheduled dates and times for using the field. With your permit in hand, your group will be all set to play!
