Seattle Parks and Recreation Hosts Racquet Sports Strategy Meetings

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) is hosting a second round of public engagement meetings for the Outdoor Racquet Sports Strategy to present findings from the first phase of public engagement and to hear additional feedback from the public. This strategy was developed in response to growing popularity of both sports, as well as from feedback we received in our first round of public engagement.

SPR will host four in-person engagement sessions as well as an online survey.

  • Tuesday, June 23 at 6:30 pm – DAKOTA PLACE PARK BUILDING – 4304 SW Dakota St, Seattle, WA 98116
  • Thursday, June 25 at 6:30 pm – MT. BAKER ROWING & SAILING CENTER – 3800 Lake Washington Blvd. S, Seattle, WA 98118
  • Saturday, June 27 at 10:30 am – MAGNOLIA COMMUNITY CENTER – 2530 34th Ave W, Seattle, WA 98199
  • Tuesday, June 30 at 6:00 pm – LOYAL HEIGHTS COMMUNITY CENTER – 2101 NW 77th St, Seattle, WA 98117

All meetings are scheduled for 90 minutes with doors opening 30 minutes prior to start time. Those unable to attend these in-person meetings will be able to access the presentation given at the in-person meetings and participate in an online survey.  Both will be posted on the project engagement hub.

To help us plan for attendance and identify translation needs, please go to the engagement hub and respond to the online invitation. This is not required but appreciated.
