Seattle Parks and Recreation invites you to learn more about West Queen Anne Playfield Renovation

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the community to learn about improvements coming to West Queen Anne Playfield. Please join us at one of the following outreach events to learn about the improvements, meet the design team, and provide feedback.

  • Sat., May 16 from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM — Southwest corner of the park near W. Blaine St and 3rd Ave W. (alongside Queen Anne Little League Picture Day)
  • Thurs., May 28 from 4:00 – 6:00 PM — Northeast corner of the park near 1st Ave W and W Howe St. (alongside the Queen Anne Farmers Market)

The West Queen Anne athletic fields serve as a hub for sports activities, including baseball, softball, and soccer. The improvements include a major upgrade with new synthetic turf for year-round play, improved fencing, and new backstops. SPR is also partnering with Queen Anne Little League’s Heart of the Hill initiative on improvements to ballfield 3, which includes new field lighting.

Both athletic field projects will include pathway and access improvements to meet current accessibility standards.
