Seattle Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with the Seattle Parks Foundation, invites the community to participate in the future of Westlake Park. Please join us on March 5, 2025 from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the Seaboard Building, 1500 4th Ave.
This is an opportunity for the community to learn about the project, review the latest design and provide input on play equipment. This project aims to transform the heart of Seattle’s downtown core into a more vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive gathering space.
Westlake Park has long served as a central hub of activity in downtown Seattle. This reimagining project is part of a broader effort to reinvigorate Downtown Seattle, creating a lasting legacy in preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup and beyond. Proposed improvements include enhanced lighting, refreshed landscaping, modernized play and art features, expanded outdoor dining and concessions, and a more open, inviting plaza for community gatherings and events.
