Seattle Parks and Recreation invites community input on Phase II Renovations at Be’er Sheva Park

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the community to help shape the future design for the next phase of renovations at Be’er Sheva Park. Please join us and provide input at one of our upcoming events at Be’er Sheva Park:

We will share results from the June community survey during each event and gather input on potential play area themes and equipment. These events will be full of fun with free food, entertainment, and activities.

Additionally, we invite the community to participate in a short survey that will inform the future design. Please visit, https://seattle.surveymonkey.com/r/BSP2-CD

Phase II Renovations will focus on renovating the play area, resurfacing the basketball court, and installing a new accessible path with a fitness zone. The design will incorporate new site furnishings, including picnic tables/benches, barbeques, bike racks, and other park elements to welcome community gatherings. This project may include other related improvements to enhance safety, accessibility, and natural areas as budget allows.

Be’er Sheva Park is located in southeast Seattle on the shores of Lake Washington at 8650 55th Ave S. For more information on the event and project please visit https://www.seattle.gov/parks/about-us/projects/beer-sheva-park-improvements or contact Shaquan Smith at Shaquan.Smith@seattle.gov.
