Join Seattle Parks and Recreation at Community Engagement Open House for Dr. Jose Rizal Park Renovation

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the community to participate in an Open House to provide input on the renovation project at Dr. Jose Rizal Park. Join us on Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Dr. Jose Rizal Park, 1007 12th Ave S on the southwest corner of Beacon Hill.

The project will renovate the upper section of Dr. Jose Rizal Park, enhancing its amenities and overall experience for visitors. Through the Elevate initiative, SPR has collaborated with community members to gather designs and ideas, ensuring that the park’s revitalization aligns with the needs and preferences of the local residents.

“We are excited to engage with the community and gather input for the Dr. Jose Rizal Park renovation project,” said AP Diaz, Seattle Parks and Recreation Superintendent. “This event provides an excellent opportunity for residents to contribute their ideas and aspirations for the park’s future. If you can’t make this Open House, I suggest you visit this park as it has a fabulous view of Seattle and be sure to take the survey.”

Community members will have the chance to view designs and ideas created by community members, as well as provide input on the experiences and activities they would like to see at the renovated park. Additionally, an online survey is available to share you input: https://bit.ly/JSPsurvey.
