Plan ahead and secure your spot now for 2024 picnics—applications for our picnic lottery are open until February 29. Applications will be processed randomly as a lottery beginning the first business day in March. Applications received between March-December will be processed in the order received.

Picnic shelters and tables can be reserved for half a day (8am-2pm or 3pm-10pm) or for a full day (8am-10pm). Some shelters include amenities like barbecues, sink, and fireplace/stove that are provided for convenience at no extra charge. In addition to our reservable facilities, most parks have non-reserved tables that are first come, first served.
