Participate in the future of the Madrona Playground

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the community to provide input and participate in the future of the Madrona Playground Play Area.  Please join us on Saturday, September 16 from 9 a.m. to noon at Madrona Playground, 3211 E. Spring Street. This is an opportunity to meet the design team and learn about the renovation project. Light refreshments will be served.

This project will replace the play equipment and redesign or repurpose the sand box area to increase use. The cherry tree grove health will be examined, and improvements made as needed.  Pathway paving will be upgraded to ensure an accessible route to and through the play area. This project will also include a design to provide cover for the stage.

For more information and to watch for future engagement opportunities please visit Madrona Playground Play Area Renovation – Parks | seattle.gov or contact Pamela Kliment at pamela.kliment@seattle.gov or 206-465-2764.
