Join us Friday, September 22 at the park!
Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the community to participate and provide input for the Little Brook Park Redevelopment project. Please join us for a public meeting on Friday, September 22, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Little Brook Park, 14043 32nd Ave NE. Light refreshments will be served.
As part of this project, SPR is partnering with Seattle Department of Transportation (SDOT) to develop a pedestrian plaza extension on the closed portion of 32nd Ave NE. At this meeting, we will share the current schematic park design and begin gathering the community’s input on the design of 32nd Ave NE. SDOT permanently closed 32nd Ave. NE as part of their Healthy Street program.
The renovation project will complete the redevelopment of the park, starting with the design developed by community members led by the non-profit organization Lake City Collective. The park improvements will include an updated play area, a covered gathering area, a creek boardwalk, a community garden and a restroom.
