In partnership with the Seattle Police Department, starting, Friday, September 1, Stan Sayres Parking Lot and Boat Ramp (3808 Lake Washington Blvd S) will begin a temporary early closure period from10:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. to help address recent illegal and violent activity that has taken place at this park. Previously, Stan Sayres Boat Ramp and Parking lot was open 4:00 A.M to 11:30 P.M.
These hours will be in place for the next 90 days, at which time Seattle Park and Recreation will review the effectiveness of the early closure hours and any recommendations related to the boat ramp’s public hours going forward. This temporary change in hours is pursuant to the authority under SMC 18.12.040 and in accordance with the emergency action procedure set forth in SMC 3.02.050.
Additionally, the temporary hours change at Atlantic City Boat Ramp will be extended an additional 90 days.
