Seattle Parks and Recreation is excited to announce the completion of the Interbay Playfields Lighting Conversion. The existing lights at the soccer stadium and ballfields have been replaced with new efficient LED lighting that will enhance the playability for field users.
The project’s completion comes as a result of collaborative efforts between Seattle Parks and Recreation, local community members, and project contractors. The budget for the project was $800,000.
SPR contractor will return later in the fall of 2023 to replace the service kiosk. This final phase of the project may cause some inconvenience to field users. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and patience.
