Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the community to help shape the future design of the Hutchinson Playground. Please join us on August 3, 2023, from 4 to 7 p.m. at Hutchinson Playground, 59th Ave S & S Norfolk St, 98118.
During the event we will host a presentation starting at 5:30 p.m. for the design team to share results from the community survey, a site analysis, potential play area styles and park design options. We will also be gathering input on how the existing park works for you as well as, what improvements you would like to see. Rec N’ Streets will be providing fun games for all, including pickleball. It will be a fun evening with food and refreshments.

Hutchinson Playground will undergo a complete park renovation to include a new play area for children ages two and up, resurfaced sport courts, playfield repair, enhanced natural areas, pathway, entrance and other related improvements to meet accessibility standards and improve safety.
