The Magnuson Park wading pool is currently closed due to fire damage. We are working to repair the damage and to install a fence over the wading pool to help prevent future nighttime vandalism. This is not the first time we have had to close the wading pool due to vandalism. In 2019, a bonfire in the wading pool caused $1,500 in damages that required cement surface repair, grate replacement, and filter replacement. We need your help to prevent vandalism at this location. In addition to installing a fence over the wading pool, a social media campaign will begin shortly to help spread the word on protecting our parks.
