Most Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities remain closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The few that have opened at partial capacity will be closed Friday, December 25, 2020 and Friday, January 1, 2021. Below is a list of parks, amenities and facilities and their status over the holidays:
These have been closed long term due to the pandemic:
- Community centers
- Indoor swimming pools
- Environmental learning centers
- Small craft centers (Green Lake and Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing)
- Teen Life Centers
- Amy Yee Tennis Center
Special hours for childcare and teen HUBs:
- Childcare: open 12/21 – 12/24; closed 12/28 – Jan 1.
- Middle and high school academic support HUBs: open 12/21 – 12/24; closed 12/28 – Jan 1.
Hours for the hygiene shower program:
- Hygiene showers will be open through the holidays except for 12/25 and 1/1
