Bike, bus or walk to the 2018 Pathway of Lights!

Pathway of Lights returns to Green Lake on Saturday, Dec. 8, rain or shine. This annual Seattle tradition attracts thousands of community members who come to travel the 2.8-mile path around the lake while taking in the warm glow of the luminaria, music and refreshments.

Parking is limited; plan ahead!  Parking around Green Lake Park and the surrounding neighborhood is extremely limited. We expect parking to fill up early and for there to be heavy traffic in the area.

Don’t waste the evening circling around to find a parking spot! Instead, we encourage everyone to consider arriving by bike, bus or foot.

Bike: This year, Lime is helping to sponsor the event and are offering the following promotion: Grab a Lime, walk the bike in the park, lock it at the tennis courts, and redeem your gift – a $3.00 credit – at the Lime tent!

Bus: Use King County Metro Transit’s Trip Planning feature to plan your trip.

Walk: Take transit or carpool to a surrounding neighborhood and enjoy walking to Green Lake.

Carpooling: We also encourage you to consider carpooling to the event via Uber or Lyft so that no one in your party has to worry about parking!
