There’s something about wandering into a park and seeing something unexpected and beautiful; something to make you stop and linger longer in nature. That’s what the Pianos in the Park program is all about.

On Thursday, July 16, at Lake Union Park Laird Norton Wealth Management, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, unveiled the 22 pianos and locations for the 2015 Pianos in the Parks.

“This program encompasses so many initiatives in just one great, innovative idea,” Deputy Mayor Hyeok Kim said.

Pianos in the Parks creates free and accessible recreation opportunities across the city. For more information on the program and contest, visit pianosintheparks.com.
