Seattle Parks and Recreation invites input for new children’s play equipment at Sam Smith Park

Seattle Parks and Recreation invites the community to participate in a public meeting for the Sam Smith Park improvements on Monday, June 8, 2015 from 5:30 – 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Sam Smith Park, 1400 Martin Luther King Jr. Way S at the play area off S. Atlantic St and 29th Ave S.

The project includes replacement of children’s play equipment, replacement of the safety surfacing and creating better access to the play area.  This meeting is an opportunity for the community to learn about the project, review options for replacing the children’s play equipment and provide input on alternative designs.

Families, neighbors and children are all encouraged to attend.
