THE BIG SIT–birding’s most sedentary competition–is back! On Oct. 13 and 14, two teams will count bird species from a 17-foot circle in Discovery Park for as long as possible during a 24-hour period. The winner?! The team that raises the most money for habitat restoration in Discovery Park and that sees the most species of birds.
