Grab your gloves and get ready to dig in! Seattle Forest Week returns November 7–15, bringing neighbors, volunteers, and community partners together to plant trees, restore natural areas, and help Seattle’s urban forests thrive.
Hosted by the City of Seattle and community partners, Seattle Forest Week marks the start of planting season with volunteer events in parks and green spaces across the city.
From creating wildlife habitat to combating climate change and providing a place for residents to recreate, having a hand in Seattle Forest Week is one of the best ways to give back to your neighbors, parks, and your local forest. Volunteer events will take place throughout the week at locations across Seattle, offering plenty of opportunities to make a difference in your neighborhood.
No experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome! Events are family-friendly, making Seattle Forest Week a great opportunity to get outdoors, connect with neighbors, and take part in meaningful climate action. We are welcoming students fulfilling service hours and group participation! Grab your work friends, basketball team, or knitting buddies and join in.
