Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR), in partnership with the Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, is excited to announce that construction began on the new pump track at I-5 Colonnade Park, 1701 Lakeview Blvd in the Eastlake neighborhood. SPR issued the Notice to Proceed on February 27, 2025, to Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance and construction began on March 12.
Construction will take place on weekdays and weekends during daylight hours. Park visitors may notice construction vehicles, power tools in use, and on-site debris that will be removed throughout the process. Access will be limited during construction, please follow all signage and construction crew directions to keep everyone safe.
This community-driven project, led by Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, is focused on modernizing the Tqalu Skills Zone area, providing a fresh and inclusive riding experience for users of all ages and abilities. SPR and Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance are excited to bring a new pump track to the city and provide an additional space for riders to enjoy.
This project is made possible through funding from the Seattle Park District, King County Parks Capital and Open Space Grant, alongside the support of community donations.
If you are interested in volunteering during construction, please contact Ashlie Courtney at ashliecourtney@evergreenmtb.org.
