Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities and programs will be closed on Friday, June 19, 2026, in observance of Juneteenth.
These facilities and services are CLOSED:
- All recreation programs
- Community centers and teen life centers
- Indoor swimming pools
- Green Lake Small Craft Center
- Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center
- Amy Yee Tennis Center
- Colman Outdoor Pool (closed June 19 & 20 for a swim meet)
These facilities are OPEN on regular schedules:
- Parks
- Volunteer Park Conservatory
- Seattle Japanese Garden
- Boat ramps
- Lifeguarded Beaches (Madrona Beach and West Green Lake Beach)
- Sprayparks
- Mounger Outdoor Pool
- Interbay, Jackson Park, Bill Wright, and West Seattle golf courses
