Seattle Parks and Recreation Announces Updated Teen Life Center Hours

Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) is inviting teens across the city to check out the updated schedule of hours and programming at its Teen Life Centers at Garfield, Meadowbrook, and Southwest Community Centers.

SPR has updated its Teen Life Center hours to include Saturday Late Night programming from 5:00 PM to 12:00 AM at the three Teen Life Centers (for a total of 9 sites citywide). The additional hours give teens ages 13–19 more opportunities to connect with friends, participate in activities, and spend time in safe and welcoming spaces.

Teen Life Centers are free drop-in spaces for youth ages 13–19 that offer recreation, arts programming, gaming, mentoring, leadership opportunities, and free meals and snacks in supportive environments designed specifically for teens.

In addition, a 2026 Council Budget Action supports a one-year expansion of Teen Late Night programming at High Point Community Center. This pilot expands access to safe, structured evening programming for teens in West Seattle.

All Teen Life Center programs are free. For more information about locations, updated hours, and upcoming activities, visit the Seattle Parks and Recreation Teen Program website.
