Seattle Parks and Recreation’s Hope for Youth fund is designed to increase access to athletic, recreational, and positive youth development activities for young people ages 11-19.
As part of this year’s grant process, SPR is continuing its commitment to youth voice by including a youth grant selection panel. Selected youth will help review applications and contribute to funding recommendations, ensuring decisions reflect the real experiences and priorities of the communities served.
This is a great opportunity to for young people to get involved in collaborative and meaningful, paid leadership work and learn about the public funding process.
