Please Join Us! Saturday, January 31st
Seattle Parks and Recreation invites neighbors, families, kids and all community members to help shape the future of the Miller Playfield Play Area. Join us on Saturday, January 31st, 2026, from 11 AM – 2 pm at Miller Community Center (330 19th Ave E) to meet the project team and share your input on the play area concept designs.
This event is a chance to connect with the designers and talk about your hopes and ideas for a welcoming, fun, and inclusive place to play. SPR is proud to partner with Inclusion Matters, a nonprofit that works with communities to create inclusive play spaces where children of all abilities can play together.
The play area renovation project will replace existing play equipment, add grass safety surfacing, and make accessibility improvements near the community center. The new play area will include play structures for children aged 2 to 12 of all abilities.
We encourage the entire community to visit Seattle Parks and Recreation’s public engagement platform Miller Playfield Play Area Renovation | Engage Seattle Parks to learn more and take a short survey. For more information, please contact Colin Campbell at Colin.Campbell@Seattle.gov.
