Whether you like to lap swim, dunk, dog-paddle or wade, Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) has dozens of ways to hit the water this summer in the pool or at the beach!
Following is a list of the 2025 Summer Pool, Beach, Wading Pool, and Spraypark Schedules.
Outdoor Pools
This summer, to support increased access, we are piloting an increase in operating hours to return service to pre-COVID levels. Data and feedback gathered during this summer will be crucial in informing our approach to outdoor pool hours in future years.
This summer, Mounger pool will commence 5-day a week operation on May 10, with a Tuesday through Saturday schedule. Colman Pool will commence a weekend-only schedule on May 10, and will begin a 7-day schedule on June 16. Both pools will commence full summer operations (7 days per week with full programming) on June 23.
Lowery C. “Pop” Mounger Pool, at 2535 32nd Ave. W, 206-684-4708, will operate for the preseason 5 days a week, Tuesdays through Saturday, starting on May 10 for drop-in swimming including for playland, lap fitness, water exercise and recreational swimming as well as swimming lessons. The pool will operate daily beginning on Monday, June 23 through Monday, September 1 with a full schedule including swimming lessons. The full schedule is available here. Mounger Pool is really two pools in one place. The “big pool” has a 50-foot corkscrew slide, and the warmer, shallower “little pool” is great for relaxing and for teaching little ones.
Colman Pool, at 8603 Fauntleroy Way SW, 206-684-7494, will operate for the preseason on weekends only May 10 to June 15 for drop-in swimming including for playland, lap fitness, and recreational swimming. The pool will operate daily beginning on Monday, June 16 through Monday, September 1 with a full schedule including swimming lessons. The pool will be open for postseason weekends only on September 6-7 and September 13-14. The full schedule will be posted here. The pool enjoys a spectacular view of Puget Sound from its prime location on the beach in West Seattle’s Lincoln Park. It features heated salt water!

The launches at 14th Ave NW and Sunnyside Ave. N along the Ship Canal have little to no parking, and do not require a permit.
