Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed for one or more days in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
These facilities and services are CLOSED on both Thursday, Nov. 28 and Friday, Nov. 29:
- Community centers, including registered and drop-in programming
- Teen life centers
- Environmental learning centers
- Indoor swimming pools
- Green Lake Small Craft Center
- Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center
These facilities are OPEN regular hours:
- Parks
- Boat ramps
These facilities are OPEN on modified schedules:
- Specialty Gardens: Seattle Japanese Garden and the Volunteer Park Conservatory will both be open on Thursday and Friday from 10am to 4pm. The Washington Park Arboretum and Kubota Garden will be open on their regular schedules on both days.
- Amy Yee Tennis Center: Will be CLOSED on Thursday and OPEN from 8:30am to 5pm on Friday.
- Golf Facilities: Will close at 2pm on Thursday (except for Interbay which will close at 3pm); and all golf facilities will operate normal hours on Friday.
