Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed Monday, September 2 in observance of the Labor Day holiday.
These facilities and services are CLOSED:
- All recreation programs
- Community centers and teen life centers
- Environmental learning centers
- Indoor swimming pools
- Green Lake Small Craft Center
- Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center
- Amy Yee Tennis Center
- Seattle Japanese Garden and Volunteer Park Conservatory (closed regularly on Mondays)
These facilities are OPEN on regular schedules:
- Parks
- Colman and Mounger outdoor pools
- Sprayparks
- Wading Pools: Green Lake Park; Lincoln Park; Van Asselt Community Center; and Volunteer Park wading pools are scheduled to be open, weather permitting. Please call the Wading Pool hotline to confirm, 206-684-7796.
- Lifeguarded beaches. Labor day beach schedule is 11am-7pm at the following sites: Madison Beach, West Green Lake Beach, Magnuson Beach, Mt. Baker Beach.
- Boat ramps
- Golf courses and ranges
