Seattle Parks and Recreation and Acts on Stage, a Black owned and operated community theater, are proud to present the annual Teen Summer Musical, Snow Whyte & The Seven.
The summer musical is an opportunity for local teens (mostly of Color) to perform in a musical theater production that reflects their culture and community while learning the disciplines of stage. Summer musical participants earn a stipend for rehearsals and performance during this 10-week summer program.
Through workshops and collaborative practices, a staff of professional artists develop the talents and skills of 73 youth who spend nine hours together Monday through Friday for 10 weeks for acting, dance and vocal training and hands-on work with the technical aspects of theater – costume, lighting and set design.

2024 performances will take place at Benaroya Hall (200 University St.) on Aug. 23-25. Shows are at 12pm, 2pm, and 7pm on select dates.
