Help Shape Meridian Playground Play Area

Join us on April 25!

Seattle Parks and Recreation invites the community to help shape the conceptual designs for the play area at Meridian Playground. Please join us on Thursday, April 25, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Good Shepherd Center, 4649 Sunnyside Avenue N., to hear about the project and provide input on desired improvements.

This project aims to make site improvements to the play area located within the western half of the former Home of Good Shepherd property. The existing play equipment will be replaced, and accessibility improvements will be made within the play area and the route to the play area.

At this meeting the design team will share a site analysis along with potential play area styles and equipment. Community participation is encouraged and will help us make the most meaningful improvements to the park.  After the meeting a short survey will be released online, on the project webpage to collect additional input.

Meridian Playground is located in the Wallingford neighborhood on the grounds of the former Home of the Good Shepherd.
