Shape the Fun at Ward Springs Park Play Area

Community Voices Needed!

Seattle Parks and Recreation invites the community to meet with our design team to provide input and participate in reviewing the three play area design options for the Ward Springs Park play area in southeast Queen Anne neighborhood. Please join us on Saturday, February 24 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Ward Springs Pump House, 925 4th Ave N. to provide ideas and feedback.

You can also share your input and participate in this short survey to let us know your favorite design and play elements https://seattle.surveymonkey.com/r/WardSpringsDesignOptions.

“The Ward Springs Play Area Renovation Project will replace the existing play equipment with new equipment that meets current safety and accessibility standards as part of our efforts to create a more welcoming and accessible play area,” said AP Diaz, Superintendent of Seattle Parks and Recreation.

All improvements will be compliant with the standards from the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

For more information and to watch for future engagement opportunities please visit the Ward Springs Play Area Renovation Project webpage or contact the project planner, Jordan Hoy, at Jordan.Hoy@seattle.gov or 206-445-5156.
