Help shape Discovery Park’s next public art installations!

Bruce Myers has been creating public art for Discovery Park since 1997. As part of Bruce’s process, he is hosting a series of workshops to collect stories, experiences, and dreams about the land we call Discovery Park and the Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center. This project coincides with the 50th Anniversary of Discovery Park celebration in 2022.

Those who register ahead of time and attend the workshop will get free 50th anniversary shirt (limited sizes) and/or water bottle.

Public Art Outreach Workshop #3: Nest & Clay

Saturday January 27, 10am – 1pm.

Community members (that’s you!) will discuss your relationships to Discovery Park in a collaborative, interactive process.

You’ll share your passions and stories about Discovery Park, produce a communal oral history, and cultivate artistic inspirations as they come together. What comes out of this workshop will inform Bruce Myers’ next public art commission at Discovery Park.
