Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed, or on modified schedules, on two or more dates in observance of the winter holidays. Please see below for details.
These facilities and programs will be CLOSED on Monday, December 25 and Monday, January 1:
- All recreation programs and facilities (Community Centers, Indoor Pools, Teen Life Centers, Environmental Learning Centers, Green Lake Small Craft Center, Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center, and all Recreation Programs)
- Amy Yee Tennis Center
- Japanese Garden (closed December through February for winter maintenance)
These facilities will have impacted schedules:
- Golf facilities will be CLOSED on Monday, December 25 and will be OPEN on Monday, January 1.
- These community centers will close early on Sunday, December 24 and Sunday, December 31:
-Rainier Beach Community Center will close early at 6pm.
-High Point Community Center will close early at 6pm.
-Madison Pool will close early at 3pm.
-Ballard Pool will close early at 3pm. - The Volunteer Park Conservatory will be OPEN on Monday, 12/25 and Monday, 1/1 from 10am to 3pm (normally the Conservatory is closed on Mondays).
