Seattle Parks and Recreation (SPR) invites the community to help shape the future design of the Hutchinson Playground. Please join us on December 9 from 9:30 to 12:30 at Hutchinson Playground covered basketball court/gym at 59th Ave S & S Norfolk St, 98118. Additionally, we will have a booth outside of the Rainier Beach Arts & Crafts Market, 6038 S. Pilgrim St from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, December 2.
The SPR design team is excited to share the preferred design and gather input on design details. The team is looking for input on play equipment options, sports court and field layouts, and overall park design elements such as pathways and trees.

Hutchinson Playground will undergo a complete park renovation to include a new play area for children ages two and up, resurfaced sport courts, playfield repair, enhanced natural areas, pathway, entrance and other related improvements to meet accessibility standards and improve safety.
