Come see the model train running at Volunteer Park Conservatory for some added holiday cheer! Every weekend through New Year’s. On Saturdays December 9, 16, 23, and 30, harpist Bill McJohn will serenade you in the Bromeliad House from 1-2 pm.

For one night only, we decorate the boardwalk and pathways of Meadowbrook Pond with hundreds of glowing luminarias. Bring your friends and family to this magical community space, stroll along, and enjoy cocoa and cookies. FREE.

Lake City Winterfest

Come out to Lake City for our annual holiday gathering! Shop vendors, eat treats, and hear some festive holiday music. Free entry.

Family Movie Night & Pajama Party @ Ravenna-Eckstein Community Center!
December 8 (Friday) 5:30-7:30pm
Wear your coziest pajamas and bring your stuffy as we enjoy a winter-themed family movie! Light refreshments will be served at 5:30pm with the movie beginning at 6pm. Please bring a donation of new (preferable white) socks and/or hand warmers for our Warm Hearts Drive! These items will be donated to a local organization in the University District called “Facing Homelessness.” Watch the Ravenna-Eckstein Facebook page for announcement of what movie we will be showing! Green Lake Pathway of Lights

A 40-year Seattle classic on the 2nd Saturday of December. Walk around Green Lake illuminated with thousands of luminarias! There will be 3 music stages featuring local schools and music groups. FREE.

Celebrate the season with your neighbors and friends! Enjoy music, games, crafts, and more. Participants can register for a gift from Toys for Tots. Toys are dependent on donations and will be distributed the week after the event. FREE
