Seattle Parks and Recreation offers multiple nature and environmental education classes in parks all over the city. Several are coming up soon, with options for families, toddlers, youth, and teens. Find the program best suited for your family and get ready to learn, explore and enjoy nature! All classes are $10 per person and require pre-registration.
- Saturday July 15th
- Native Plant and Forest Ecology: ages 3+, Lincoln Park, from 10am-12pm
- Pond Exploration: age 3+, Camp Long Environmental Learning Center, from 1pm-3pm
- Sunday July 16th
- Low Tide Beach Exploration: ages 3+, Discovery Park, from 10am-12pm
- Monday July 17th
- Low Tide Beach Exploration: ages 3-7, Carkeek Park, from 10am-12pm
- Incredible Insects: ages 7-13, Carkeek Park, from 1pm-2:30pm
- Saturday, July 22nd
- Beavers and Wetlands Ecology at Foster and Marsh Island Loop: ages 3+, Washington Park Arboretum from 1pm-3pm
