Due to the inclement weather, some Seattle Parks and Recreation programs and facilities are impacted today (Wednesday, Dec 21st).

Impacts for Wednesday, December 21st:
Parks:
- During snow events, our nearly 500 parks remain open, unless otherwise indicated.
- Gate and bathroom openings may be delayed as staff navigate snowy roads
- Athletic fields will also be opened for non-motorized winter recreation for households and small groups.
- We encourage all visitors to use caution in our outdoor spaces. Snow and ice can cause tree branches to snap; please stay out from under trees and avoid forested parks.
Comfort Stations:
- West Magnolia South Comfort Station closed due winterization (no power and pipes freezing).
Amy Yee Tennis Center:
- All tennis programs at AYTC are cancelled today. Open for reservations. Center will close at 8pm this evening.
Golf:
- Interbay: Course CLOSED. Range, Pro Shop & Restaurant open until they run out of golf balls for driving range. No sledding, other Winter recreation allowed.
- Jackson: Course, Range, Pro Shop & Restaurant CLOSED. Winter recreation allowed.
- Jefferson: Course CLOSED. No sledding, other winter recreation allowed. Range, Pro Shop & Restaurant open until they run out of golf balls for driving range.
- West Seattle: Course, Range, Pro Shop & Restaurant CLOSED. No sledding, other Winter recreation allowed.
SPR Facilities: Community Centers, teen life centers, and environmental learning centers are currently scheduled to be open normal hours to the public (based on staff capacity). Please check back here to get up-to-date information about any impacts to community center hours and programming.

Pools: Pools are currently scheduled to be open normal hours to the public (based on staff capacity). Please call your pool before arrival for any updates on changing schedules.
SPR Facilities:
- Pre-K provided by LAUNCH at Miller Annex is closed today.
- Creative Kids (third party preschool) at Carkeek Park Environmental Learning Center will be closed all week due to inclement weather.
Safety reminders:
- We encourage everyone to stay out from under trees and avoid forested park areas during high winds and/or if heavy snow or ice covers the trees.
