Seattle Parks and Recreation winter holiday closures

Many Seattle Parks and Recreation facilities will be closed, or on modified schedules, on two or more dates in observance of the winter holidays. Please see below for details.

Recreation programs and facilities

Community Centers, Teen Life Centers, Environmental Learning Centers, and all Recreation Programs:

  • Sunday, December 25: CLOSED
  • Monday, December 26: CLOSED
  • Sunday, January 1: CLOSED
  • Monday, January 2: CLOSED

Aquatics programs and facilities

Indoor Pools, Green Lake Small Craft Center, and Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center:

  • Sunday, December 25: CLOSED
  • Monday, December 26: CLOSED
  • Sunday, January 1: CLOSED
  • Monday, January 2: CLOSED
  • Tuesday, January 3: Evans Pool closed

Volunteer Park Conservatory

  • Sunday, December 25: OPEN
  • Monday, December 26: CLOSED
  • Sunday, January 1: OPEN
  • Monday, January 2: CLOSED

Japanese Garden

  • CLOSED December through February for winter maintenance

Golf

  • Saturday, December 24: Open until 2 p.m.
  • Sunday, December 25: CLOSED
  • Saturday, December 31: Open until 6 p.m. (Jackson, Jefferson & Interbay). West Seattle will have regular hours.

Amy Yee Tennis Center

  • Saturday, December 24: OPEN modified hours (8:15 a.m. – 1 p.m.)
  • Sunday, December 25: CLOSED
  • Monday, December 26: OPEN modified hours (8:15 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
  • Saturday, December 31: OPEN modified hours (8:15 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.)
  • Sunday, January 1: CLOSED
  • Monday, January 2: OPEN modified hours (8:15 a.m. – 8 p.m.)
