Celebrate the 50th anniversary of Discovery Park with free events & activities on Oct. 1, 2022

On Saturday, October 1st, celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Discovery Park during this free, all day, family friendly event! To commemorate this special occasion, Seattle Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with scores of community members and organizations, is hosting a full day of activities, including a formal ceremony with honored speakers. Walks, Talks, Activities and Games are scheduled all throughout Discovery Park! We will have free shuttle buses so you can easily get to your next activity.

Event volunteers needed! Volunteers will receive a 50th Anniversary t-shirt, volunteer button, and a free box lunch. Sign up to be a volunteer.
