Magnolia Manor Dog Off-Leash Area Closes For Improvements

Seattle Parks and Recreation is closing the Magnolia Manor Dog Off-Leash Area (OLA) on Thursday, July 22 to address maintenance issues and make park improvements. The Seattle Conservation Corps will be packing holes created by dogs and fanning the extra gravel out into the park. During the scheduled maintenance the OLA will be closed with no access allowed.  We anticipate the project will take one to two days and the park will be open for the weekend. 

Magnolia Manor OLA is located at Magnolia Manor Dog Park is located at 3500 28th Ave W., Seattle, 98199. The nearest OLA’s are Kinnear OLA on the lower hillside of Kinnear Park, 899 Olympic Place, Seattle, 98119 and Denny Park at 100 Dexter Ave N, 98108. The Seattle Park District Maintaining Parks and Facilities funding initiatives provides $120,000 in 2021 to Improve Dog Off-Leash Areas throughout Seattle. The People, Dogs and Parks Plan  provides the scope and prioritization of major-maintenance capital projects.
