One mile of Lake Washington Boulevard closed to traffic through February 21

The snow might be gone, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t fun, local things to do outdoors with the family! Namely, the always popular closure of a portion of Lake Washington Boulevard to traffic.

This week through Sunday, February 21, one mile of the northern segment of Lake Washington Blvd from Mt. Baker Park to Stan Sayres Park opens to people walking, rolling, and biking, and closes to people driving. Barricades will be removed on Monday, February 22. The closure was originally scheduled to begin last week but was postponed to prep for snow and ice.

Signs have been placed to alert people driving of the temporary change.
