Join us as Seattle Parks and Recreation, Bee City and the Interbay Golf Center present a Pollinator Week event for gardeners, bee lovers and those curious about native bees.  We are celebrating our gentle native bees (bumble bees, sweat bees, mason bees, leafcutter bees, and more) who do most of Seattle’s bee pollination.  Come to the new center of urban native bee restoration on Thursday, June 20, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. at Interbay Golf Center at 2501 15th Ave. NW.

Your non-stinging, super-pollinating, native bees are the workhorses of all of Seattle’s plants and gardens.  They need your help to keep our garden vegetables, fruits, and flowers productive.  The Interbay Golf Center is a new experimental public land site to show off what our wild, native bees do and how they do it. This event will feature tours of the new bee / pollinator habitat as part of the Golf Course, and will include family-friendly creative activities, as well as opportunities to expand our native pollinator numbers, range and habitat.  Meet your amazing native bees for a fun early summer evening!
