What is Green Seattle Partnership? Since 2004, Green Seattle Partnership has worked to protect and improve Seattle’s forested lands through hands-on volunteerism. Without intervention from the community, Seattle risked losing 70% of the tree cover in our parks in just 20 years. Green Seattle Partnership was formed with the goal to restore all 2,500 acres of Seattle forested parklands by 2025. Seattle’s forests promote strong communities by keeping our air and water clean. Additionally, forested parks improve human health and well-being by providing safe access to nature.
