Teachers, are you interested in bringing hands-on science and environmental education to your students through field trips to local parks? If so, we have highly trained Seattle Urban Nature Guides available to provide engaging field trips designed to complement and highlight Next Generation Science Standards.
Field trips are offered in Carkeek Park, Camp Long, Discovery Park, Longfellow Creek and at Me-Kwa-Mooks beach. Spring programs focus on freshwater, as well as intertidal and forest habitats.
Scholarships are available for Title 1 schools up to 50% of cost AND free bus transportation.
