The Carkeek Park pedestrian bridge, located near the playground parking lot and that crosses the train tracks providing access to the beach, will be closed beginning Monday, Nov. 5 for maintenance work. We anticipate the work will last through Friday, Nov. 9 and that the bridge will be reopened on Saturday, Nov. 10.
Seattle Parks and Recreation will be doing repair work to the middle landing of the stairs on the west side of the bridge as well as painting over the new work and touching up other areas. Crews will be on site from approximately 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
