Free adaptive bikes for use at Bicycle Sundays on Aug. 19 and Sept. 16

Outdoors for All will provide adaptive bikes for use during Bicycle Sundays on August 19 and September 16. The adaptive bikes will be free to use between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on both days. Outdoors for All is dedicated to enriching the quality of life for children and adults with disabilities through outdoor recreation. An Outdoor for All trailer with a variety of adaptive bikes will be located at the south entrance of Seward Park. Questions? About Bicycle Sundays: On scheduled Sundays from May to September, a portion of Lake Washington Boulevard will be closed to motorized vehicles from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Seattle Parks and Recreation invites everyone in the community to bike, jog or stroll along the boulevard between the Seward Park entrance and Mount Baker Park’s beach during these times.

The remaining 2018 event dates are:

  • July 8, 15
  • August 19*, 26
  • September 2, 9, 16*

*Adaptive bikes available.
