Register early for Fall Youth Sports so you can relax knowing your child has something to look forward to after all the summer fun. Sign up for Girls Volleyball, Youth Flag Football (Co-Ed), and/or Youth Cross Country (Co-Ed). Contact your local community center to find your league and get registered.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL LEAGUE – Age Groups: 10-11, 12-13, and 14-17 (Age as of 8/31/18)
The Citywide Girls Volleyball League provides players the opportunity to develop and solidify fundamental skills, team play, and sportsmanship. Practices take place at community centers or nearby school gyms, and begin in early September. Games are played on weeknights and begin in mid-September and conclude with a weekend jamboree in mid-November. Practice times vary. Check with your local center for specific dates and times.
If your local community center does not have enough kids or a coach to form a full team, you will be given the option of transferring to a nearby center’s team if a spot is available, or withdrawing with a full refund.

Fee: $40 Minimum; 6 girls per team
YOUTH FLAG FOOTBALL LEAGUE (CO-ED) – Age Groups: 6-7, 8-9, 10-11, and 12-17 (Age as of 8/31/18)
Players learn basic skills, team play, and sportsmanship in this citywide league. Games are played in accordance with NFL flag football rules and field dimensions.
League play begins the last week in September and concludes in mid-November. Teams practice at their local community center. Teams will be forming in NE, NW, SE and West Seattle.

YOUTH CROSS COUNTRY – Ages: 8-17
Beginning September 4, 2018, team practices will be at Woodland Park on Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4-5:30 p.m. and Saturday mornings, 9-10:30 a.m. when there is no Saturday meet. Practices are rain or shine, so dress for the weather.
