The Pacific Northwest Tree Climbing Championship is taking place at Woodland Park, 1000 North 50th Street, Seattle, near the Woodland Park Lawn Bowling Area this weekend, Sept 23 & 24, 2017. This special two day event will showcase the best male and female tree climbing arborists from Oregon, Idaho, Washington and Vancouver, B.C. Spectators are welcome to attend this FREE event on both days. Held every year, these championships promote a culture of safety and innovation among professional arborists. The preliminary events are being held on Saturday, Sept 23 from 9am to 5pm.
Only the top 5 men and 2 women will continue on to compete in the championship round on Sunday Sept 24 starting at 9:30am, and the winners of this regional competition will continue on to the International Tree Climbing Championship.
